On Friday, April 13th, 2018, the Eco Team is hosting its’ annual School Year Clean-up, as part of the Vaughan 20 Minute Clean-up. The City of Vaughan has provided gloves and garbage bags to assist students and staff in cleaning up the debris that has collected in our school yard over the winter. Please ensure that your child(ren) comes to school dressed appropriately for this outdoor activity. We’re looking forward to getting some fresh air and helping to beautify our school!
- Monday April 23rd & Tuesday April 24th – Junior Drama Performances @ 6:30pm
- Wednesday April 25th – Intermediate Drama Performance @ 7pm
All performances will be taking place at the City Playhouse Theatre.
Tickets are $11 when purchased in advance (through school cash online) and $12 at the door the evening of the show. Tickets are first come first serve.
All proceeds go to support the music program at Rosedale Heights!

Good morning to our Rosedale Heights parents and guardians. I want to give you a heads up about two exciting events happening on successive Wednesdays for our RHPS Community over the next two weeks.
- Wednesday, April 11 is the International Day of Pink. All staff and students will be sharing ideas, plans and resources dealing with inclusion, acceptance and kindness. We hope all 410 students and 40 staff members will wear pink in a show of support and spirit.
- Wednesday, April 18 is BINGO NIGHT. The School Council has planned a special fundraiser that includes parents and children in an evening of Bingo fun and cute prizes including a Starbucks “date” with Mrs. Waiser, a pizza luncheon with Mr. Anania and “PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY” for the grand prize. Festivities start at 6:00 p.m. and the gym will host our first annual BINGO NIGHT. Don’t miss the chance to be part of an exciting night.

On May 1st and 2nd, York Region Public Health will be conducting Dental Screenings for our JK, SK, students in grades 2, 4, 6 and 8. A letter will be coming home today with all of the details.
If you wish to have your child excluded from the dental screening, notify the Dental Program immediately by calling 1-800-735-6625 ext. 74395.

The last week of “Breakfast for Lunch” (catered by Tov-Li) is on Friday May 4th.
The final session of Friday lunches will begin on Friday May 11th. We will be offering bagel sandwiches catered by Panera. Students will have the choice of either sliced cheese or cream cheese.

COST is $10.00 (includes 1 slice of pizza, 1 drink and a booklet of 6 game cards) OR

Students MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the entire evening
If you have ordered the Astoria Lunch for the final session, the first day is TOMORROW.
There will be NO “breakfast for lunch” on Friday.
All other lunches start next week (Pizza – Monday; Sushi – Tuesday; Pasta – Wednesday)
Just a reminder that sushi lunch (session 3) starts next week. There is no sushi lunch today.
Pasta is also starting next week for the 3rd session.
