Dear Parents and Guardians,
We apologize for any confusion, but we are happy to announce that our Touchstone Council and Student Well-Being Team have gathered input from students and it has been decided that this Thursday December 7, 2017 will be JERSEY DAY. Students and staff are asked to wear a jersey of a professional sports team, a local team, a minor league team or the colour Navy Blue (as a main colour of RHPS).
Please remind students that for our Spirit Day we will bring in either:
one loonie to be donated to our Hospital for Sick Children charity,
one canned food item which will be delivered to the Vaughan Food Bank this week.
The top “donating” classes will have a special picture taken in the front atrium.
We are all looking forward to JERSEY DAY this week!
The Variety Shows for Rosedale Heights are tomorrow evening! We look forward to this special night and helping to raise funds for the Music Program. The primary variety show is from 5:30pm to 6:40 pm and the Junior-Intermediate Variety show runs from 7:15pm to 8:40 pm.
Tickets can be bought at the door before each show!
If you purchased tickets online and have yet to receive them, they will be available for pick-up in the lobby tomorrow before the show.
Hope to see you there!

Just four reminders as we begin this final month of 2017.
1. On Monday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. we have a School Council Meeting in our school library. All parents are welcome to attend as we plan to speak about school projects, fundraising ideas, Edsby and Field Trips.
2. On December 11 we have our end of year Family Skating Night. We are at Garnet A. Williams at 4:30 p.m. Please come and have some fun with the Rockets Community!
3. As the weather changes I expect all parents and caregivers to be extra careful when dropping off students for school. Our school doors are open at 8:15 a.m. and the instructional day begins at 8:30 a.m. We have over 400 students at our school and we thank those families that have helped make entry a smooth one by getting our students to school at 8:15 – 8:25 a.m. Early arrival certainly makes drop off and the parking lot much safer places.
4. December 7 is Twin and Triplet Day! Students are to find a friend (or two or three) and dress alike. It will be a fun day at RHPS!
