Pizza Lunch Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers on Mondays starting October 2nd over lunch time (11:50 – 12:20) to organize and distribute pizza lunch to students.  If you are able to help, please contact our parent coordinator Melanie via email at

School Council Meeting

The first parent council meeting for the 2017-2018 school year is on Monday September 18, 2017.  The meeting will be at 7pm in the library.

All are encouraged and welcome to attend.

Drama Club Registration

We are lucky to once again have Robbie Frankel heading up our drama clubs for the year.  To register your child(ren) please do so through School Cash Online.

Intermediate & Junior clubs start on Tuesday September 19th

Primary club starts October 19th.

We are happy to once again offer lunches by blocks of weeks.  All orders must be placed through school cash online.  The first block runs from October thru until the December break.  We currently have the following choices available:

A reminder that we strongly encourage students in grades 1-4 to purchase an agenda. It is an excellent took for parent-teacher communication, organization and independence.

Thornhill Village Festival

The 41st Thornhill Village Festival is taking place on Saturday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the heritage diistrict of Thornhill. There will be fun for all, with lots of music, food, crafter and commercial booths, community displays, a petting zoo, baking contest and more. There is no admission cost, but donations are most appreciated. We invite all our Thornhill families, and friends from other communities, to take part. High school students can volunteer and receive community service hours. Adult volunteers are also needed. There is a special youth category in our baking contest. Please go to  for more information about the festival. In celebration of our heritage during Canada 150, we invite you to wear cultural dress.
